Trump brags ICE is using its 'larger and harder muscles' — to clean airports
President Donald Trump sought to boost the morale of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents by praising their "larger and harder muscles" in a social media post.
Following their deployment to airports to "help" TSA agents, Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to say he was "so proud of our ICE Patriots!"
"They were unfairly maligned by the Lunatic Democrats for years, and now, at the Airports, in addition to what they are supposed to be doing, they are helping people with bags, even picking up and cleaning areas," the president claimed. "The fact is, they shouldn't have to do this, but they are rehabbing a fake image given to them by Radical Left Democrat politicians."
Trump may have decided ICE needed to be rehabilitated after immigration agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens in Minnesota.
"The Public is loving ICE, so the Democrats, unwittingly, did us a favor — They are Great American Patriots, they just happen to have much larger, and harder, muscles than most — which is what they're supposed to have," the president remarked. "Thank you to ICE for the GREAT job you are doing."
Despite ICE's deployment to 13 of the nation's airports, reports said TSA lines stretched for three hours or more in many areas on Wednesday morning. Multiple polls have also shown that ICE is woefully unpopular.
